Hydraulic bollards Prometheus and Atlas

"TiSO" hydraulic bollards are reliable devices, which are easy-to-use and provide maximum durability.

There are two types of hydraulic bollards in our product range: with build-in hydraulic station (only parking) and with separately located hydraulic station in special box (both parking and anti-ram).

Bollards with build-in hydro-station is an ideal solution, when quantity of devices is not very big, and also installation of external box is not an option. In this case hydro-station is installed inside underground box (which also serves as a permanent formwork). Obvious advantage of such scheme is simple installation procedure. Main disadvantage is difficulty of service works.

Second “hydro-scheme” type - the location of the hydraulic actuator (oil pump) in a separate box (hydro-station), which is installed at some distance from the bollard. In its turn, only oil piston is installed in bollard, which is connected to the box by high-pressure hose. This scheme greatly simplifies the maintenance of hydraulic, as well as allows to simultaneously operate multiple bollards from one hydro-station (so it is less expensive to implement a comprehensive project to protect the perimeter).

Distance from hydro-station to bollards and quantity of bollards, that can be operated by one station – are the subjects for individual calculation for each project. Next data is needed to determination of these parameters:
- parking or anti-ram bollards are required?
- which is the total amount of bollards in project?
- are there requirements for minimal / maximum distance from bollards to hydro-station(s)?
- are there requirements for lowering / rising time?
- should bollards rise simultaneously or not?

Following dependences can be noted for reference:
- one hydro-station, which operates one parking bollard can be installed on distance less than 20 m and will raise it for 4 seconds.
- one hydro-station can operate 4 parking bollards simultaneously, and their rising speed will be 6-10 sec. Distance from bollards to hydro-station – 6-10 m.
- in any schemes and configurations, bollards are connected to hydro-station parallel.

Key features of bollards installation:
- arrangement of good drainage system is required (or connection to any other existing drainage system);
- after arrangement of drainage, bollard’s body (box) is installed, which also serves as a permanent formwork and simultaneously the frame rigidity to perform the main functions of Ballard - retention of the attack;
- bollard itself should be installed in box. Also connection of hydraulic hoses performed at this stage (in the scheme of separate hydro-station) as well as electro-cables;
- finally protective cover should be assembled on the top of the bo;
- in parallel box of hydro-station should be installed, which don’t require excavation works (in the scheme of separate hydro-station).
